Our Cleanse and Soothe spray is a cleansing spray with natural ingredients, designed to keep your perineal clean during your postpartum recovery - at bathroom time and shower time. It perfectly sprays upside down, so you can easily mist your noonie from any position. It’s truly no-touch, just spray and rinse and gently pat or air dry, or you can just gently press a damp towel to remove any excess.
It is soothing on tender skin, calming on burning post-pee feels, anti-inflammatory to reduce swelling and, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-nasties to support healing!
This is thanks to our hero native ingredient, Tasmanian Pepper. Native to Tasmania and traditionally used in both Aboriginal cuisine and medicine. With antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, it's been used to treat a variety of illnesses
One of the Pepperberry's healing powers is to calm inflammatory markers in the skin, which reduces burning sensation, skin redness and irritation from developing.
Directions for use
- Remove cap and spray on desired areas a few times
- Rinse with water or gently pat with damp towel after applying spray
- You can air dry or gently pat any excess residue with a dry towel
Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate, Lauryl Glucoside, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract, Zingiber Ocinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Glyceryl Oleate, Sodium Phytate, Bisabolol (from Chamomile), Citric acid, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Levulinate, Potassium Sorbate, Sorbic Acid.
Originally I wanted a natural labour and truly believed my body and baby knew what to do so having ordered the tens machine I was excited to see how we could use it to support my birthing “plan”.
Of course, labour did not go ANYWHERE to a plan for me and I had to surrender to the idea of letting everything happen how it was meant to happen for me and not worry about this idea of a natural birth I had once hoped for.
After over 3 days of early labour contractions that were consistent however my body didn’t dilate I can say that I used the tens machine more than I ever thought I would. It was the best pain relief for early labour and genuinely got me through this time, right up until I felt like my body was done with the pain and had my epidural.
I know people like myself, would want to use the tens to help facilitate that natural birthing idea however I am so thankful I had the tens machine for my experience even if I felt like I still needed pain relief in the end, I wouldn’t of been able to get that far without it!
