2nd time around using the the TENS, I experienced a quick labour with no medical interventions, highly recommend!!!!
The TENS machine was amazing in the early stages of my labour. It helped me focus and calm down with each contraction and made the pain feel at ease. The feeling of the tens machine definitely helped me feel more calm with each contraction increasing in pain. Would 100% recommend!!
Being able to rent a tens machine at lower cost was really helpful. I live in remote Australia and did not have access to one without buying one myself which I didn’t want to do as this may be my last birth. I didn’t have a tens machine for my first birth and really wanted to try this for pain management to avoid having an epidural, as in my previous labour the epidural failed. The tens machine worked wonders for me and got me through my second labour with gas for pain relief as well. It comes in a lovely bag you get to keep and you post it back after your birth. Very convenient and ships Australia wide perfect for women in rural and remote areas who may lack resources. Thank you :)
Not only was the tens machine a game changer in what was my fourth labour, but hiring it from Bliss Birth was so easy. Cannot recommend highly enough, this little machine got me through 90% of my labour without much fuss.

I didn't use a TENS for my first birth but after using it for my second birth I would recommend the TENS to anyone about to embark on their labour experience.
I used the TENS in early stages of labour and half way through active labour where I Unfortunately had to remove it due to baby needing a clip for monitoring and it Unfortunately interferes with this monitoring. But once the TENS was off I definitely needed pain relief to get through contractions. I wished I could have kept the TENS on because it was amazing.
Highly recommended Bliss Birth for hire too. Delivery was prompt and arrived well before the date I put for hire and the return process was easy with the prepaid postage bag and the reminders to ensure it was returned on time.

This helped me get to 6cms before tapping out and needing an Epidural due to exhaustion. I believe if I wasn’t so tired and worn out I could’ve used this all the way to 10cms.
Even if you are thinking about trying this for labour, just get it. Even if it gets you halfway 🫶🏻

I absolutely loved the tens machine! I don’t know how I would have gotten through the contractions especially past the 5 cm mark. Did the birth completely unmedicated just with the tens machine and the birthing pool towards the end. Delivery of the tens machine was fast and reliable. Return still pending but can imagine it will go smoothly
Really easy and quick service to get the machine. Definitely helped with labour and so happy I hired it. Super easy return as well- a bonus when you’re in those early newborn trenches.

Managed to labour at home 13hrs+ and into the hospital with just the tens for over 19hrs total. Highly effective and would recommend to anyone about to have a baby.

I was skeptical about how much a TENS machine will work but hired one anyway. Can confirm, it was very helpful. Whilst it does not take away the pain (Back labour) it was a great tool to reduce/focus on something else during contractions. Absolutely get it on as early as possible. Hire process was easy and return process is even easier!
The TENS machine was amazing during my labour! Was easy to use and set up. It really helped me through my whole labour till almost the end. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting one, it is well worth it.
My student midwife recommended a tens machine and I’m so glad I had one for my labour. I used it right up until giving birth - about 12 hours. Very easy and intuitive to use. I’d highly recommend this. And bliss birth made the process so easy and smooth. Very quick delivery, clear instructions on how to use the machine and prepaid return postage. Well done bliss birth!
The process was seamless and the product did what I expected it to. Didn't know how long the tens machine would help with the pain but it did a good 24hrs before we got to hospital and the gas and air took over. The ability to extend when the little one hadn't arrived until over a week after her due date was very reassuring too!

Bliss Birth made everything so easy from hiring to returning my TENS. The TENS itself was incredible - I used it for about two and a half hours when I was experiencing hip and back pain in active labour at home as my main form of pain relief and it definitely enabled me to labour at home for longer. I was still wearing it when I arrived at the birth centre and only took it off just before I was entering the bath for a beautiful water birth. Thank you so much Bliss Birth!
